Reimagining Campmeeting for Mission
For many years, we have gathered annually at Bass Memorial for camp meeting, a special time of revival, preaching, fellowship, and spiritual renewal for our church family. These gatherings have been a true blessing, and we deeply value the memories and spiritual growth they have brought to so many.
With gratitude for that history, we are stepping into a new season with a clearer evangelistic focus. The Bible Conference is one unified event with two connected parts. The first portion is designed to equip our members through practical evangelism training and daily outreach in the community. The second portion is community-centered, featuring evangelistic sermons, Bible-based seminars, and health programs intended to invite and bless those around us. Various ministries will also be present to share mission updates and provide opportunities for involvement.
Our desire is simple: to strengthen our church family while intentionally reaching our community for Jesus.
Dates
We encourage all members to attend both portions if possible.
However, there is also the option to register for one portion if needed.

Equipped for Mission
The first few days of The Bible Conference are focused on equipping our members for mission.
This portion is designed for church members who want to grow in confidence and effectiveness in sharing their faith — whether you have years of experience or are just getting started.
Each day includes practical training in areas such as:
- How to study the Bible with others
- Christ’s method alone
- Health evangelism
- Generating Bible study interests
- Personal outreach and follow-up
This is not just classroom instruction.
Every day, we will go into the community and put what we learn into practice. We will connect with individuals, offer prayer, conduct surveys, distribute literature, host health expos, and personally invite people to the second portion of the Bible Conference.
You will leave this week not only encouraged, but equipped.
May 20–24
Community Bible Conference
The second portion of the Bible Conference is focused on engaging and blessing the community — and it is just as important for you as a church member.
During these days, you will hear evangelistic sermons, attend Bible-based seminars, and participate in health presentations designed to answer questions, strengthen faith, and clearly uplift Scripture.
This is your opportunity to:
- How to study the Bible with others
- Bring Bible study interests you’ve been working with
- Health evangelism
- Support those you met during outreach
- Grow spiritually alongside the community
Many who attend will have already received a personal invitation during the outreach week. Your presence, encouragement, and continued connection can make a lasting difference.
These days are not only for the community — they are for you.
You are encouraged to stay engaged through this entire portion, both to support the work and to be spiritually refreshed yourself.

The Bigger Picture
The Bible Conference is more than a single week of meetings. It is part of a larger vision for reaching our community with the Word of God.
Each year, this event is intended to serve as a focused evangelistic effort for the surrounding area.
This year, the Bible Conference will be followed by:
Faith Camp
Vacation Bible School (VBS)
An evangelistic series
These efforts work together to continue the momentum and provide clear next steps for those who desire to grow spiritually.
During the conference, attendees will have opportunities to sign up for ->

Small group Bible studies

One-on-one Bible studies

Follow-up health coaching sessions

Continued spiritual learning
The local church, together with students from Streams of Light Training Institute, will work to follow up on every request.
Our prayer is that each year this gathering builds momentum, strengthening our members while reaching new souls for Jesus.
