Paul used his trade to bring the gospel to homes and communities that few missionaries could reach—and through SOLTI, you can learn to do the same. Our program equips you with practical, self-supporting skills so you can step into the blue-collar world, support yourself through a trade, and lead people to Christ. Vocational trades open doors for sharing the gospel through skilled, everyday work.
Manual training is deserving of far more attention than it has received.
Schools should be established that, in addition to the highest mental and moral culture, shall provide the best possible facilities for physical development and industrial training. Instruction should be given in agriculture, manufactures—covering as many as possible of the most useful trades. Education, p. 218

Our new Vocational Trade School equips missionaries with real skills — electrical work, Heating Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC), Welding, Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) and more—so you can support yourself while sharing the gospel wherever God sends you.
